Two or more circles having the same centre are called concentric circles \begin {align*} x^2 + y^2 +2gx + 2fy + c & = 0\\ x^2 + y^2 + 2gx + 2fy + k & = 0 \end {align*}

Equations which are concentric differ only by the constant terms.
