2.15 Curvature

Curvature is a measure of how sharp a curve bends. Consider the following:

The figure shows a smooth curve \(C\). The curve bends more sharply at \(P\) than at \(Q\). Hence we say that the curvature is more at \(P\) than it is at \(Q\).
