7 Two Further Tests

Two tests complete the standard toolkit. The first asks a question none of the earlier ones do; the second extends a test already met to a situation it cannot handle as it stands. Friedman’s test, which also belongs to this group, is placed with the rank tests of Chapter 3 alongside Kruskal–Wallis, where it reads more naturally.
